CAMPING INFORMATION
REGISTRATION AND REFUND POLICIES:
Unicamp gladly accepts cash, cheques, VISA and Master Card. All fees are payable in Canadian funds. PST is payable on some fees, please see our Registration Form. We are exempt from the collection of GST and you therefore save 6 percent on your stay with us, but we do have to pay 3 percent accept your credit card payments. Making a donation of 3 percent your total bill if paying by credit card will help to offset this expense for us and would be greatly appreciated. A tax deductible income tax receipt will be issued for donations over $10.- NSF cheques will be subject to a $35.00 administration fee.
- Reservations are on a first come first serve basis. To reserve a campsite, dorm or cottage or to ensure a program space and to book meals full payment must be received 7 days prior to your arrival. Reservations may be made using a credit card.
- After reservations have been made refunds or fee reductions will not be given in the event of late arrivals, early departures or inclement weather. Reservations will be held until 8 am of the morning after your anticipated arrival date.
Changes or cancellations made 7 or more days prior to your arrival date are subject to a 10 percent ( min. $35 ) administration fee. Cancellations made within 7 days of your arrival date are subject to no refund. Changes in reservations may be subject to a $35 administration fee.
DAY VISITORS: Unicamp is a private property and we take the security and comfort of our campers very seriously. When space permits and at the discretion of the Camp Director day visitors are welcome to enjoy Unicamp between 10 am and 8 pm. Day pass visitors are not permitted during the off-season, work weekends, Children's Camp and Junior Youth Week. Day rates are $10/adult $5/child (5 - 15 years of age). Please phone ahead to book your day.
CHILDCARE is made available for program participants during program sessions for $5.00 per session per child (limit of two sessions per day) and at other times may be arranged on an individual basis. Please notify camp 10 days prior to your stay if you would like childcare.
CAMPERSHIPS: Financial assistance is available to those wishing to stay at Unicamp and for whom the cost is a deterrent. Please contact the Registrar. Donations to our Campership fund are always welcome.
UNICAMP VOLUNTEERS are an integral part of our operation helping out in many ways during the season. Talk to a Unicamp Board member if you are interested in donating some time this summer.
CHARITABLE DONATIONS are one way to show your commitment to Unicamp. Your donation can aid the less fortunate to come to camp or it can be directed to capital projects. Tax receipts are issued upon request.
